Humanize AI is a free course and AI detector for people who use AI to write and still want the result to sound like them. Students, marketers, small business owners, freelancers, people writing in a second language: if you've ever pasted an AI draft and thought "this isn't me", it's for you.

Why it exists

AI writing tools got good fast. They also made a lot of writing sound the same. Readers noticed, and AI detectors arrived to flag it, with mixed accuracy. Now people are caught in the middle. Some get flagged for writing they did themselves. Others use AI well but can't get the drafts to sound like their own work.

We think the answer to both problems is the same: understand how AI text is produced and spotted, then write with your own facts, opinions and rhythm. That's what the course teaches, start to finish, for free.

How we teach

  • Practical first. Every lesson ends with something to try on your own writing.
  • Honest about detectors. We explain what they measure, where they fail and why one score proves nothing.
  • Honest about rules. Writing better is the goal. Getting around a policy you agreed to isn't. Module 7 covers this.
  • We follow our own advice. Every lesson on this site is checked with our own AI detector before it's published.

About the AI detector

Our AI detector scores six habits that research has linked to AI-generated text, from overused vocabulary to sentence rhythm. It shows you the exact phrases it noticed, so the result is something you can act on, not just a number. It's a style tool, not a lie detector, and we say so on every result.

Your text is analyzed on our server and isn't stored. The privacy policy has the details.
